Having trouble with motor jumping out of gear when I shift into reverse. Could the linkage need adjustment and if so is it hard to adjust. Anyone had a problem with that?

How many hours have you got on your motor or do you do a lot of stopping and starting ?
As it can happen and i have changed the length of the gear shift so as to push it in to gear further if leg is a bit worn
