We have a DF140 from 2016 and now we get the error code 9-1 when starting the engine. Does anyone know what the code stands for? The check engine light flashes 9-1 but makes no sound. I found a link on this forum to the codes but the files with the codes are gone. I think it has something to do with the key? We have tried the spare key also but there's no difference. The engine seems to work fine.

Key Fob battery low. -
Thanks! That was what we thought/hoped. I suppose it is possible that both keys have low battery (we bought the boat this summer so we have no knowledge of battery changes).Comment

Here are the instructions for resetting the 9-1 code AFTER key fob battery replacement in the event that it does not auto-reset (which it should according to the documentation). I received these from my local dealer after struggling to find reliable instructions is various forums.
