anyone know of the year on my suzuki outboard

can anyone tell me where i can find serial number on dt55 . where exactly on the engine would they be? trying to figure out the year. got numbers off transom mount plate. cant find anything on it . numbers are 910040 and 05501 if anyone can figure that out would greatly help thanks.
