Hey gang! First post here...and I hope you can help me out.
My "up trim" has gone out and I'm trying to figure out how to manually raise the outboard. There is no flat head screw on the mount bracket that I can undo like on newer models. I've read in my maintainence manual that I need to undo the manual valve on the trim motor but my motor does not have a valve that I can find either. My online research show's later motor models with the valve. Am I out of luck? How do I raise this bad boy?
BTW...I'll be installing a new relay, I think that's the culprit, but would like to have a manual option if it does not work.
