fuel tank on outboard
Hi,
Just put my boat in the water yesterday and the old suzuki 400model outboard started at the 3rd pull, she is a 25hp.
After pumping the fuel into the header tank on the outboard all seemed fine until the header tank slowly emptied as I ran the outboard in neutral. Fuel from the main external tank is not automatically refilling the header tank on the outboard???
The fuel clip fitting is a fairly loose fit so maybe air is getting in???
Any ideas would be great, also a link to a manual as I am having difficulty finding one on the internet as it's such an old model of engine.
