questions about the heads on dt 150 s

i have an 88 dt 150.it has hoses on each head that run from top to bottom.i purchased a 88 power head from a dealer.it doesnt have the hoses.it onlt has a thurmostat housing on top.and the cover doesnt have the port in the bottom for the hose.can someone please tell me why is this one like this.i was thinking of putting my covers on it and use the hose.but the heads are diffrent.but the stamps on the sides are the same.all numbers on both heads seem to be the same.but they are obviously diffrent.please help

If indeed they are different then you should attempt to use the heads that come with the motor. If the hose reconnects to the head then it may not be required for the new style heads.
