Anyone know about the new DF140 fuel pump?

I have been looking for a latest version low pressure fuel pump for my '05 DF140. I have the vapor lock problem, and am making some oil, possibly due to the amount of trolling I do. The older pump has a part # 15100-90J10. I have also found a part # 15100-90J1V, which is supposed to fit my motor. I wonder if the V in the number stands for "Vapor", i.e. is it supposed to be better at pumping vapor? Does anyone know about what changed with the new part number?
