Suzuki shaft length

This is probably an inept question. I purchased a short shaft 2.5 HP Suzuki outboard motor (2009). It turns out the shaft is several inches too short for my inflatable boat. Are there any extension kits available for this motor. What are my options???

i believe you can buy the parts to change the shaft length not positive they make a kit for it,i know we did a honda 9.9 up at sea power marine in sitka,ak
