2005 200hp 4stroke whistling noise?

I hear a squeal/ whistling sound coming from my motor. at idol it does not make any noise, but when in gear at a low speed i hear a whistling sound coming from the motor. Its not real loud but it is loud enough for it to bother me. I dont think its coming for the lower unit. It sound like it is coming from the top part of the motor, closest to the transom. anyone have any thoughts? 2005 with 225 hours. service just done and impellar replaced. Thanks

Just purchased a 2004 vessel w/2004 250 4strokes and my port engine makes the same noise. I am researching the sound if you have any luck please post as I will also

My 2007 df 175 had that noise and it was the balance shaft bearings ,suzuki fixed it under waranty.
