The tell tale on my DF 140 tends to always have a low pressure stream, sometimes down to a dribble, and has been this way since new. I occasionally insert a wire into the opening and the flow picks up to some degree. This has not changed, even after having a new impeller installed. My dealer/mechanic states that the 140 is known for a weak flow.
Would it be possible to slightly enlarge the tell tale hole in the rubber piece with a hand operated drill to increase the flow and also reduce the occasional blockages that occur? I presently use a piece of coat hanger wire to get the water flowing again.
