1993 Suzuki DT 150 S

Hi,new here.Lot of question and answers here.Anyone know where I can purchase the electrical fuel pump for this motor without paying the premiun price of $545.00?I saw somewhere someone said you could get the same pump from Isuzu,Mazda,Toyota or someone like that.Any info would be greatly appreciated,Mike

They cost so much because they have been approved for marine use. You could use an automotive designed one, but they are not marine use approved. If you ever got checked (which I doubt you would) you could get fined I have been told. On top of that, if there is an accident/fire on your boat, and insurance finds out, I have been told they won't cover it also. As far as a cheaper price. Do a search with the part number, you might be able to find it cheaper or used even.
