  • 1998 DT25C jets and nozzles?

Why do each of the three carbs on my DT have different jets and nozzles in them? Wouldn't that make each cylinder have different output? The pilot jet, main jet, and main nozzle are different for each carb. The 90-97 have the same for each carb. Could I get more power by changing all of them to the same size of the biggest ones?

Usually the difference in jets is because either the intake or the exhaust is different for each cylinder so the jets are different to keep each cylinder equal in output and tune.
Changing them would put the motor out of tune and it would run worse.

      Thanks

I could understand that on a four stroke, but theses are 2 strokes. The carbs are bolted directly to the crankcase, so they each have the same run. Just something in the engineers' infinite wisdom.
