Noise in the trim DF-150

I own a DF-150 . Runs perfect .

But when at dock , and i go to put the engine out of water , the trim make a extrange sound . This sound ends when begin the tilt .

The rare thing is that last week the boat was out of water for antifouling , and there was no sound out of water in the trim .

Again in the water and the sound come back .

What do you think ??

Some trim units make sounds, if you are not leaking fluid and it works fine. I recommend not to worry about it. Now if it is giving you problems further diagnostic is required.

Itīs not a problem indeed . Itīs just the noise . The trim works fine .
I like good sounds .

If it's a screetching sound, some grease where the trim ram touches the motor will fix it.

My 140 was making a similar noise, noticed a lot of movement around the mounting pins, replsced all the bushes noise disapeared

Please , could you be more specific about what parts did you change ?
