Suzuki Cotter Pin

Does this cotter pin install look good enough. Thought it should have been a lil longer to be able to bend a lil further over the prop shaft. I ordered the replacement from Boats.net, and they said it was a genuine Suzuki replacement, but wasn't the same size as the one I took off...smaller Eye hole, and shorter length, althought the thickness was the same. I was curious if they changed the specs on the cotter pin. Didn't see anywhere were this was superseded in place of old. Motor I have is Df140 manufactured in 2003.

I'm an airline mechanic, and that cotter pin will hold forever. The bends are there to keep the pin only from vibrating out, the eyehead is what keeps the nut from turning, and that also is only due to vibration. I'd sign for that cotter pin anyday...don't sweat it
