dt150 vs dt150 super six

Hi all, I have an 87 Charger fish and ski with an 87 dt150 super six. What is the difference in a dt150 super six and a regular dt150?

I have the DT150. I think the difference is the number of spark plugs per cylinder. Mine has one plug per cylinder. I think the Super Six has two per cylinder. If you have two plugs per cylinder I guess that confirms it or if someone else can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey it could also be a name they had for those back then. I think "Super Six" was on the front of the cowling of those and mine is a 2002 and just says "V Six" on the front.

Yup mine has 12 spark plugs, that must be the difference. THANKS

Super"6"

The super 6's are different in a way that depends on what year and if it it carbed or fuel injected.If it is injected like mine it has a (3) stage firing system for better porformance and fuel consumption.
