No oil injection!

I recently bought a 1997 DT40 that has the oil injection system totally gone! The guy I bought it from never mentioned this to me and I only discovered that it was supposed to be there after checking the serial # to confirm the yr, which I was told it was a 98 not a 97 lol! Anyway I just want to make sure what ratio I should mix the gas? I believe it should be 50:1!

Yes, 50 to 1 is the standard for 2 stroke engines

Mixing the oil yourself Is sumtimes a better option, You Know the oil is there as the injection system some times fails

Its better to mix the oil in the recommended proportion as according the model. Its better than the oil injection system.
