  • DF300 Oil change warning won't reset

I have a client who tried to rig hs 300 by himself, minus several harnesses and he did some sketchy s#*t.
At his 1st oil change I had a difficult time resetting the maintenance reminder. I ended up disconnecting the ECU, Killing clean power among other things and finally got it reset.
Guess what, I just changed fluids and it won't reset again.
Anyone else run into this or do I need to get a new ECU?

    Here is what worked
Started the motor, pulled the lanyard, hit the start button 3 times.

        Not on this one,
I had to start the motor, pull the lanyard and then hit the start button 3 times.
Pulling the kill lanyard wouldn't do it.
This was a DIY box motor, the client rigged himself, many things wired wrong when I initialized the motor. I think he damaged the ecm
