I have a pair of 2007 Suzuki 140 HP, 4 stroke motors. I store my boat for 6 months each year, when I am out of the country. I stabilize the fuel when storing. When I got it out of storage in January 2011, the port engine would not turn over. After removing the start in gear kill switch, it cranked fine but idled at 1800 rpm, to fast to shift into gear. I checked the kill switch and it tested good. I reinstalled it and it cranked fine, but still idled 1800. When running along at 2000 rpm, I can crank the engine and it goes right into gear, but will not come back to nuetral without shutting the engine off.
Can you please point me in the direction I need to go to trouble shoot this problem.
thank you
