df 200 thermostats

motor is running hot i need to change the thermostats what temp should i go with 60 degrees or 71 motor is a 2007 df200 thanks

I'm no mechanic but this is what I've been told. The 60 degree usually comes with the motor. I rather have it open up sooner. Are you boating in warmer water?

70% is only for fresh water.don't see them not opening,water pump? sencor ? is it really over heating or a flase alarm ?

Thanks for all the info I'm going with the 60 degree which you say is factory and i am also changing the water pump Not taking any chances I would rather do it now then during fishing season. Thanks again
