1998 DF 9.9 Lower Gear Case
Do you know if a 1998 DT 9.9 lower gear case will fit a 1998 DF 9.9 engine? My 1998 DF 9.9, four stroke, long shaft lower unit is cracked and I have not had any luck finding a replacement unit although I have found a DT 9.9 long shaft lower unit and am wondering if this will fit. I also understand that the DF 15 lower unit is the same as the DF 9.9 - is this true? Where are the part numbers located on the lower units to verify year model? Thanks for any info.
