DT40 runs and stops and sometimes not atall

hi..im having problems with my DT40 and really thinking its a carb problem!!new plugs,leads,filter etc..carbs have been cleaned and adjusted several times!!up until now it would idle and at 1/3 throttle ahead only run on 1 cyl,once you put handle down,it would kick in run fine until you ease of again,but would always stop/start after!now..if it starts it will idle on 1 cyl then dye down and cut out,or you can give it throttle and will stay running on 2 cyl allday,but soon as you stop or drop revs,it wont fire again!!!it sometimes attempts to start after,but will only start if you leave it a while and dry plugs etc

personally i think theres either gremlins in the electrics,or hopefully on a better note just a needle or floatvalve or something simple to do with the carb!!o yeah it started bogging/resisting when reving it high in neutral recently to!

any suggestions??
