Several weeks ago for Suzuki 300AP wouldn't power past 4500 RPM. It was a fully loaded fishing trip so motors took a good bit of time to get up on plane and then run good cruising at 4000RPM. Push the throttle up and motors would only go to 4500. Before the mechanic could get to it the motors ran fine. Then today same problem on port motor only. No codes. Normal WOT is 5500. VSTs serviced and cleaned recently.

- check the fuel lines. They may be delaminating internally and blocking fuel flow. The grey lines are notorious for this.
- check or better still replace the fuel filter elements.p on the line between tank and engine.
- when was the last time the spark plugs were changed? A bad plug that is breaking down is a possibility too. These engines can run surprisingly well al low to med rpm with one bad plug, but will lack top end revs.
Is the fuel fresh? Stale fuel will cause bad running, but seems less likely to only affect one engine.
NOTE: It also sounds like the engine is over propped, thats a separate issue but the engines should be propped to enable them to reach 6000rpm at WOT with the normal load on board. Currently you are somewhat lugging it, and ghis will be worse on days with heavier loads.
