I don't know
I have not been able to get anyone to my request to contact me
From what I can tell having it renewed means it is not going to go away
To get the site to work correctly is another different story..
The boats.net people they no longer support the site.
Somebody has to be responsible, who ????
All of these *outboardforum.com sites have been broken for quite some time, luckily I have an old account here but have no luck getting registered on the yamaha boards
The question is where else should we go that actually has experts who can help instead of 100,000 amateurs like myself just muddying the waters?

There are actually some very good people that contribute to this forum, some are mechanics.
I don't look at the Yamaha site, but the registration for this site has been updated (may 14th)- so you might try the Yamaha site again.

I agree with you, these forums are the best ones out there!! but with the rumors of them being shutdown, where will we migrate if they disappear? thehulltruth? boats.net? elsewhere?
The registration for this site was renewed on 5/25 and goes out to 2029
I still have been unable to find anyone willing to talk with.
I tried to set up a new user account yesterday and that is not working..
The good thing is the site will not go down
the Boats.net people have flatly told me they are not involved anymore and sounds like have washed their hands of all of it
