Short of finding a counter rotating foot for a DF140, is it possible to convert a standard to counter rotating foot? Or would I even want to try the conversion? I have a low hour DF140 year 2018 which I thought I'd add to a twin repower. My thinking was a standard rotating engine would be easier to find than a counter. Thought, suggestions?

I think all Suzuki engines rotate the same direction(clockwise), it’s the gearing in the lower unit that causes the counter rotation. IF I’m correct then a counter rotating lower unit is all you would need. As far as a DIY conversion I have no idea. You could compare both lower units parts page and see what different parts you would need, give you an idea…
