I tried to use the search function but must apologies in advance as I could not find a thread that answers my question. If I missed an existing topic please let me know.
I'm investigating the possibility to convert the key start of my 2022 DF90 to a push button start. Since this outboard does not have any RFID security the key is basically useless from a security standpoint. They are easily overcome if someone really wants my engine.
In a perfect world I'd remove the key start from the Suzuki panel and replace it with a push button. Just curious if anyone has ever tried to do this. If so what pitfalls did then encounter and overcome?
