2020 df140 20” conversion to 25”

I know it’s not a cheap swap but what exactly is involved in converting a 2020 140 20” shaft to a 25”

It looks like I would need the longer driveshaft housing and a longer driveshaft, pick up tube and shift, but what else is needed . Anyone have any experience with this or an idea on total cost to swap

Have a bit of a search and see if there's an after market "kit" available, failing that, a complete new (second hand) gearbox with shaft and so on might be easier/cheaper?

I haven’t found anything aftermarket to extend the midsection. Was hoping for a 5” spaced to extend midsection and then find a 25” lower unit or ds and

based on the parts I think I’ll need it looks like it will be 3k to do the swap. (Maybe more)

looks like the midsection (driveshaft housing has the be swapped)

in addition the driveshaft would have to be swapped which involves opening up gear case. The I would have water pick up tube, shift rod , etc

I think I will be better off selling this motor and finding a 25” model
