Hi! Is there a particular reason why the flush mount control ( https://suzukioutboardmarine.com/pro...t-control-box/ ) would not work with 2000 year DF50?

Just a guess, but possibly the 2005 onwards engines are efi where those earlier are carby?
The addition of the electronics could probably have changed the harnesses, controls etc which in turn affects which control boxes are suitable??

At the moment this concealed control box is attached to 2014 DF25 V-Twin carburettor engine. The “new” engine is year 2000 DF50 EFIComment
