225 EFI year 2001 Two cycle . Oil and gas mix exiting exughst . wont start

I have a new to me 2001 225 efi outboard 2 cycle . It wont start and oil gas mix comes out the exhaust . I here pump running for 5 seconds or so when I turn key to on . I remove two spark plugs and squirt some straight gas in cylinders , Replace plugs ang motor fire .. what should i do ?

I would inspect the fuel rail & injectors, pressure regulator, and rest of injection system, and the VST, also check/ clean all low & high pressure filters (or change them)?

I would NOT shoot plain gas into any cylinders, as it has to have gas and OIL for proper lubrication!
