recently acquired a DT85, runs lovely except she won’t go in to reverse!

want to order some parts but can’t seem to figure out exact age from the serial, was hoping somebody could shed some light?

its 8501-411831

It should be a 1984 year model.
Most parts on these older motors are NLA (no longer available), but one can always hope.
