My 2006 DF 150 Suzuki engine is over flowing some fuel into my engine. I cleaned the vst tank and replaced the float needle and seat. I ran a clear tube from the vst tank overflow to a plastic bottle while running my boat today. When I got home there was about a 1/2 ounce of fuel in the plastic bottle. What could be causing the needle to still be passing? Maybe the float needs adjusting? Any help or ideas would be appreciated..

2006 DF 150 Suzuki VST Problem
Thanks for the reply. That's something I've never done is adjust a float. I'm sure its in my manual somewhere. At the moment I have a clear fuel line from the vst overflow port running to a T with a clear line going to a plastic bottle and also a clear line from that T going to the normal engine port. The line going to the engine port has a small valve in it which is open at the moment. While running the engine at home i'm not seeing any kind of overflow. I'm just curious if my setup will cause any problems with the engine even if its a temporary set up.
