Suzuki 90 running roughly

I came back from a fishing trip with the motor running fine at 4500rpm, then idling along at 1000 rpm. When I got home a few minutes later, it started fine but the began to splutter and shake. Water Seems to come out ok, and it starts as normal, but then starts to get rough when it’s been running around 20-30 seconds. I did find a loose rubber tube with a sort of bayonet clip 94C640F8-8B61-4C6A-BF73-3DBD4AD292B0.jpeg at the front but have no idea if that is the issue.

That tube is for the old water pressure type speedometer. Has nothing to do with your rough running motor. Maybe try the easy things first like check fuel filter, throw a set of spark plugs at it as you may have a plug breaking down.
