Hello everyone,
I just installed new mechanical controls for my DF140. Was a super straightforward install, but I did have to solder wires since the PO removed the clip in connections. The wires colors from the previous controls matched exactly, so I simply cut off the previous wires from previous controls and new connectors from new controls and soldered the connectors. Everything works great, with the exception of the tilt/trim control. The tilt/trim goes down, but not up. There is a mysterious switch box or some type of junction box that the wires go through and I cannot figure out what it is. Any ideas? I'm wondering if this could be the culprit...
