2008 DF300 Throttle Position Sensor

I moved the throttle butterfly while wiping some crud out of the throttle body. I did not disconnect the TPS as I should have. Do I need to have the TPS recalibrated? Idles fine on the trailer but if I rev it in throttle only mode it surges. I don't know if this is the rev limiter kicking in or a problem I caused by messing with the butterfly.

Hi this is a standard safety thing on all modern engines. In neutral they are restricted to 3000 rpm. Above that you will get the surging.
