Counter Rotation ???

Converting a standard DF225 to counter-rotation. Understand I must look for the "Z" designation when replacing the lower unit. How does one tell what years will work? I assume the gear ratios change year to year. Just how available are used units and where to look?

If you hit the Suzuki Marine genuine parts picture top right corner it will take you to the parts section. Select the part in question then scroll down to the bottom and you will find a list of engines and years that share the selected part.
