This just started on my 2007 DF 300 HP Suzuki. I'm getting 1 beep alarm about every 5 seconds. Any help on this issue would be appreciated..

I think oil change alarm beeps when u turn on key, but stops after start up. I think. My book shows a 1-1 beep and lamp flashing on tach as something to do with rectifier & regulator (overcharging) -
I reset the oil change alarm yesterday by pulling the lanyard off, turning the key on and pressing the start/stop button 3 times and heard it beep. That seemed to solve the problem I thought. Yesterday evening I was going to check the fuel gauge I installed and when I turned the key on the beep was back every 5 seconds. I did the reset again and it would beep with just the key on and engine not running..It don't have the smart tach or anything just a regular suzuki tach.. The only thing I did was tilt the engine up and move the boat to some shade. Any ideas? ThanksComment
