  • Check engine indicator

Hello I'm new here, I have twin df140A outboard motors and this summer after servicing them the indicator check the engine light started flashing 6 times pauses then 3 flashes after and repeating like that with beeps every 5 seconds. It does not tell me what issue is causing this in the manual book. What could possibly be wrong with it? Thank you

Also the other motor does that but after shutting off the engine it goes away, but once in awhile check the engine light will flash the same way but goes away. There's no dealership in my area so I'm hoping it's not something serious.

Here is a link to the codes for Suzukis. Look in the second document in the link at the bottom.

      https://www.suzukioutboardforum.com/...agnostic-codes

6-3 is for the O2 sensor heater.

What year are these engines? If they are under warranty the sensors will probably be replaced.

2018, I think they are still under warranty.

if the code is 3-6 is there different problem? The other engine does that, 3 flashes pauses then 6 flashes and the beep the same.

Yes, 3-6 is a different code.

Did you look at the list of codes in the thread I linked for you? The answer to what a 3-6 code is, is in there.

Hi thank you for your responses, I saw the list of codes you provided but for what ever reason I could not open the link attachments. So I have not seen 3-6 yet.
