I have a DF50A 2012 (with around 200 hours) and have an issue that me (and the mechanic) cannot solve!
I had been on the boat all morning and refilled the 25L tank midway. After refilling, I couldn't restart. There were no alarms, no obvious visible problem with any of the fuel lines, primer was working and getting hard. But it wouldn't start at all. I waited half an hour and tried multiple times again with no luck. Ended up having to get towed. I went away for a week then came back and retried the engine and it started perfectly first time. I brought a mechanic down and he couldn't find anything wrong. Everything is fine now, but I'm worried it may happen again.
For more info I gave a fuel water separator filter and there were no issues with that. The boat sat unused for 6 months, but I have used it multiple times (and refilled the tank multiple times) before this happened.
Any ideas?
