Question about what tubing size

The shop manual shows circulating water hose diameter 5x9x whatever the length is. (DF140) Is this 5mm ID x 9 mm OD?
Straight pieces should be replaceable by OTC tubing. I just don't want to replace with smaller ID tubing.

Normally yes the dimensions are in MM but that's seems very small for a cooling hose. Can you give us a part number for us to research?

I always buy the preformed (bent) tubing. But a straight piece. Too easy to just buy OTC.
I think it is 9mm od x 5mm id. I had a piece in a box from when I replaced some a few years ago. I forgot about that. Now if I can find some locally.
