  • Suzuki DF70 trim sender wires

I am adding a trim guage to my 2001 DF70. I have instructions for my trim sender, however it does not say what each wire is. I have a Pink, Light green, Black and Orange wire. Can anyone tell me what wire does what and where they go???? Thank you for your help.

I've been searching for days and can't find anything. I did find an older style Suzuki trim gauge with the same color wires. I might just have to spend the extra money on the older style guage to make it work. Hopefully someone will come up with the answer. I appreciate everyone looking and if I figure anything out I will let you all know. Thank you

QBRINE, The sender unit and the harness are married together via a connector, they simply just plug together. I'm fairly confident that the connecting plugs are the same as the 2002 through to the 2011 series

You are correct the sender and harness plug together. What I'm not understanding are the wires that go to the guage. I can't find a diagram of which wire does what.

So after weeks of researching, and calling multiple Suzuki dealers. I got the answer I was looking for. An awesome Suzuki mechanic in Minnesota was willing to talk to me and tell me the information I needed to know. This is the information on the wires I needed. The sending unit on 2001 and older.
          Black wire is ground
          Orange is 12 v power
Green is 5 v low voltage
          Pink is the sending wire
