I have a DF300 on the back of a 27' Ranger Tug (8000#). 350 hrs, serviced every spring, and moored year-round in salt water. It's always been slow out of the hole, but with 4 adults cruises easily at 28 - 32 MPH, and WOT at 38+. Max RPMs were in the mid to upper 5000s as I recall. Now it's even more sluggish and struggles to get on plane. Max RPM at WOT is now 4600. This occurred over night, not gradually. The only "event" that coincides with it is running through a few mucky tide rips at low speed. What could be causing this?
