  • 2017 Suzuki's NMEA set up

    Following on from Moonlighters post.....

For the 2017 model suzuki's (mine are DF200APX's) in the US the "dual engine adapter" has a built in positive and ground for power supply to the NMEA network - these are gray and black wires. They can be connected to the power drop lines that come out of the main harness under the dash - in the photos - you will see they are also gray and black and the end fittings are covered and sealed with a greenish / clear plastic sheath.

The adapter cable has a grey coloured 6 pin plug at one end - (only 4 of the pins are used). This plugs into a black 6 pin plug on the main harness under the dash.

The other end of the dual engine adaptor cable has two 4 pin plugs - one named port and one starboard - see photo. These plug into the 4 pin plugs on the "engine interface cables" - the two pin plugs on the engine interface cables aren't used.

As Moonlighter stated in his post - the power supply can come from the power drop in the main harness or a 12V accessories.

You should then have the engine data available on your MFD or C10 gauge.
