2007 DF150 - Exhaust/Steel Plugs?

Hi there,

Curious if my 2007 DF150 will require the "**** plug" fix? I've poked around a bit and it does seem to use part #09248-18010 on the water jacket cover as well as part # 11116-93J01 which is located on the cylinder head.

Do either of these require replacement to prevent corrosion?

If you are referring to the exhaust corrosion from the steel plug on the DF90/115/140's from 2001-2006, I do not believe so. The DF150 is a completely different motor.

I understand what you're asking.....they are the same plugs.... used in the DF150/175, as well as the DF90/115/140. I have the same engine, DF150 2007 model. I'm not sure of the answer to your question. But in light of the fact that they show the plugs as applications for all models 2001 through 2011 and later, I'm thinking, hoping, that they have modified the alloy to prevent the problem encountered in the earlier DF140s. I think our 2007 models were after the problem dates for the DF140.

Thank you for both of your responses. I do hope that is the case and we're (the Df150) is not prone to the same issue the smaller blocks had.
