I have a 2000 df70. Filled with non-ethanol and a bottle of sta-bil at end of last season (September/October) ran it in the driveway a couple times earlier this year and took the boat out for the first time this past Thursday. Ran flawlessly for our trip out to the beach (about 30 minutes) anchored and hung out for about 4 hours. Go to leave and motor would turn over but not start. Tried for almost an hour. Every now and then it would fire off but not fully start. Got towed back to ramp. Next day after work I was going to look into it and it fired up no problem.
We took it back out today, ran great on the way out and back, then while idling around the ramp waiting for my turn it stalled and took several tries but it restarted. Any ideas where to start? If it won’t start I could diagnose, but since it started at home I’m at a bit
of a loss of where to start. Thoughts?
