Going to explain this to the best of my abilities, hope it makes sense
1982 Suzuki DT140
Engine runs, power is great. BUT I cannot get a tach to work. The yellow wire that runs to the remote box always has power to it, 12 volts no matter if the key is on or not. I plugged it in too the take but it does not make the tach read any thing
I have trace it all the way to the motor and found that my magneto has 12 volts coming out of it at all times?
Please help me,,, want to go fishing and something doesn't feel right
