suzuki 3.5hp dt probably around 1979/84 , fuel cock/pump assembly there is a cup a gasket and a filter , filter goes in the assembly first then the gasket and then the cup is screwed on over the top , i cannot get these to fit, cup will not screw down over washer/gasket

I'll look at parts page to see if i can find what you're looking at.
You might be able to order those parts? Otherwise if nothing else works, you might have to put something together that will safely do the same job?
