Bought a new 2020 DF50AVTL2 about four months ago and at 17 hours it keeps going into protection mode 2-2 code this happens at about 2000 rpm and bringing it to idle for 20 seconds clears it.
A factory authorized Suzuki service tech who went above and beyond trying to fix my outboard replaced the IAC and it ran ok for a few days then replaced the ECM and it ran well for 39 hours then more 2-2 codes and then replaced the throttle body while I was on my vacation trailering the boat to Florida but the problem persists.
I tried to bring it back to the selling dealer in Florida and was told because someone else replaced the ECM they refused to work on it.
Now back home in the northeast having a hard time getting a local dealer to take on this problem outboard and having written 4 letters to Suzuki asking for help with no response does anyone have ideas on a fix I don't want to loose the summer my marina opens in a week .
