Battery Cable Size?

I want to extend the motor battery cable on my DF90 to move the battery from the transom to under the center console. Two questions: (1) Can anyone tell me what size the cable wires are; (2) Is it feasible to splice an extension to it (i.e. butt connector type). Third question I guess: does Suzuki have longer cables that can replace the stock one?

This is a quote from a Setup manual for a 2009 DF90. If you splice the cable it will be one more place to check if/when you have power issues. Potential for corrosion?

I would not recommend splicing at all. My batteries are under the console and I've run 00 cables, about the size of the battery cables on the modern car. You need the larger cable to limit a loss of amperage for that distance.

Battery cables don't come as part of a Suzuki package, as far as I know. They are a standard aftermarket item, bought by the foot.
