Hi guys. Been researching old posts here but I can't fine the exact answer I need. So please help me with some advise. I have a 2004 DF9.9A 4 stroke "kicker" on my boat. I'm trying to get it running this spring, and all it will do is sputter/run for about6-7 seconds and that's it. Bulb is full "hard". I can hear fuel getting to the motor. Haven't checked the carb yet....today's plan. But in the meantime or if this doesn't work. What are my other options ? I have tried to get new plugs but auto parts store keeps trying to give me the wrong size plugs. Manual says NGK CR6E. Is this correct ? Thanks in advance. -M

Would suggest you find a Suzuki dealer
If no one is within reasonable drive distance them would order them on-line
However sounds like engine is starving for fuel
Would check fuel filters first then fuel pump
Don't know small engines but if it is fuel injected them the high pressure pump also would have a fuel filter to clean
Can we assume you are using fresh new fuel?
