Upgrade Eng. Interface with Suzuki C10

Hello,

I was trying to update suzuki engine interface from 2.9.0 to 2.3.0 via Suzuki C10, but they doesn't starts. Then i try to update suzuki fuel module which has start without any problem. Where is the problem or what is the procedure to upgrade (downgrade) engine interface from 2.9.0 to 2.3.0?

The newer interface cables have their software locked, so they can not be changed. It sounds like yours are locked. If their part number ends in -290 they are the locked ones.

The only solution is to get a version of cables that are unlocked.

In the US, try Mike at Intrenational Marine, he can sometimes get them in.

In Australia, They can be obtained new from Jon Eadie at Bayside Suzuki Marine, Cleveland.

And it is no way to somehow unlock and downgrade, even with nmea2000 to usb adapter?

No. It cant be done.
