  • DF25A Uneven Running at Cruising RPM

I bought my DF25ATLK16 02504F-611102 last autumn (2016). It has run faultlessly during its first 200 plus hours - until today.
I have fuel starvation symptoms after 3-5mins running at 4500-5000 rpm. Uneven running and threatening to stall. Oil level is correct and no warning lights or alarm sounds. When I throttle down below 1000rpm the engine continues to run smoothly but is again uneven if I exceed 1500 rpm. Engine starts (and re-starts) fine and the preliminary 3 warning lights extinguish as normal.
After the engine has been shut down for a while (5 mins plus) the engine will again function normally for 3-5mins before the symptoms occur again. I've changed all the fuel and will try another fuel tank and line tomorrow as I've seen that other people have had trouble with the in-line bulb and ball valves.
    Any ideas?
    Many thanks, Tim

    Check the fuel tank venting
Sounds very much like you are creating a vacuum to the point the pump cannot get anymore fuel to flow. Art
